(1) 100일 비워내기 챌린지
유튜브에서 본 거 같은데 100일 동안 필요 없는 걸 매일 하나씩 버리는 챌랜지가 있다고 한다! 짐도 없고 ...

I recently came across a YouTube video about a challenge where you let go of one unused item every day for 100 days.
I live quite minimally already, but I still own plenty of things I don’t really use.
So, I decided to join in on the 100-Day Decluttering Challenge! ✨
I’ll be sharing my progress in 10-day segments — here’s Days 1 to 10.
Day 1 (Aug 5) – Pen
A mint-colored pen from Daiso with cute Disney animals.
It’s so pretty, but a bit uncomfortable to write with, so I never reach for it. Time to let it go. 💔
Day 2 (Aug 6) – Keyring
A fluffy white keyring I got for free with a lip tint purchase.
It looked a bit messy from the start, so I never really liked it.
Day 3 (Aug 7) – Kitchen Paper Holder
Bought in Daiso (Gyeongsan branch). I’m not using it anymore, so it’s out.
Might bundle unused kitchen items and sell them on a second-hand app like Danggeun Market later.
Day 4 (Aug 8) – Bag
The inner pipe of my bag broke, so it has to go.
That day, I bought a Totoro towel, so I also decluttered my oldest towel to balance it out.
New rule: if I buy something new, I must let go of something old!
Day 5 (Aug 9) – Planner Checklist
I bought this to be more productive, but it just stressed me out instead.
I guess I’m more of a “P” than a “J” in the MBTI world. 😅
Also gave away an almost-used-up pen and a toy.
Day 6 (Aug 10) – Strawberry Cape for a Doll
It was too big for my doll. This was a popular Daiso item, but it’s time to part ways.
Day 7 (Aug 11) – English Teaching Aid
Materials I used when tutoring kids in the past. I no longer need them.
Day 8 (Aug 12) – Mini Board Game
This was a Happy Meal toy that my students loved using for English conversation practice.
Time to pass it on.
Day 9 (Aug 13) – Snow White Pen
Bought it together with the Day 1 pen, but never used it.
I love Snow White, but this pen just isn’t for me.
Day 10 (Aug 14) – Hair Clip from Temu
Didn’t like the visible wire in the spring part, so I’m letting it go.
Reflections after 10 days
It feels good to see small but steady progress.
The strawberry cape will be given to someone at my gacha capsule toy meetup this weekend.
This challenge has made me think twice before buying new things —
because if I bring something home, I’ll have to let go of something else.
Also, I learned something interesting from a YouTube video:
wealthy people often keep their rooms and desks tidy to reduce unnecessary information for the brain.
If your surroundings are cluttered, your brain thinks you’re in a “danger state” and focuses only on immediate issues instead of long-term goals.
That’s all the motivation I needed to clean my desk immediately!
